The Mausoleum is now part of Mountain View Cemetery, which opened in 1882. This magnificent mausoleum is as much a work of art as it is a historic resting place. We have over 700 Union soldiers and over 70 Confederate soldiers resting here. Bring a flag to plant on the grave of the veteran of your choice. We salute you, and all our veterans. We invite you to visit our grounds 365 days a year, from 8am to 5pm. Professional funeral staff are available 24 hours a day.
