Hi Edward, You can try Colibritool for growth hacking. How do you monitor your website? Have you ever used ColibriTool for monitoring your website backlinks? I have been using colibri for all of my SEO working including website monitoring, keyword analysis, competitor's website monitoring and so on. You can have a look here in http://colibritool.com

Thanks! I've been using Mixpanel for analytics, Google keyword planner for keyword analysis, and SEO Spyglass for keyword/competitor monitoring. It's all quite manual work, so I think Colibri would work quite well. Thanks!

Well, I got here from Quora, and I see that you were the one who posted it there. So I'd say Quora is a pretty good place to do growth hacking.

Other than that, I've gotten a limited success with posting in forums. It's hard to find a forum that allows you to promote your brand. They usually delete your post pretty quickly right after you post it. But if you're able to sneak one in, then it'll bring you some visitors.

Also, I do a lot of blog commenting. I've been finding blogs on Technorati (also like you said in your guide), and I've been commenting on some of the more popular articles. That gets me some users.

In the end, the stuff I'm doing doesn't give me a LOT of users, but it gets me enough to try out our service early on.
