How do I do SEO for a daily deals site?

Hi, We are running a daily deals site, and because any of our pages don't last more than a week, so that it's kind of pointless to do any kind of SEO on them, other than filling them up with keywords we want to target. In terms of linking strategy, what can we do to make it so that Google will index our deal pages quickly enough for them to show up in the results?

Should I build my product first? or build a demo like Dropbox and get funding?

I read in the guide that Dropbox was able to get a lot of users sign up for the service with a demo video even before writing a line of code. I was thinking then why would one want to spend a month building out a MVP and then test their assumptions instead of just making a good demo video and validate their idea right there?

Can redesigning my homepage affect how Google ranks my website?

If I am looking to redesign my homepage, will that influence or diminish the prior success with the traffic I've gotten from Google?

How to start a iOS/Android app company with the least amount of capital

I am currently thinking about starting a business like that, and I have no idea how much money I would need to kind of boostrap this until I get funding. I am thinking about doing this nights and weekends, so I won't need much money, but does anyone have a good idea of how much marketing/advertising will cost for me, and what are the best ways to get my app out there once I'm done?

Any online sites where I can do validation and customer development?

I can always post on Quora or StackExchange, but can anyone recommend sites that, for example, integrates a lean canvas proposal with community comments, votes, questions/answers?  Or sites that I can post proposal including solution, pricing, and target customer to the community and ask them to again to vote and comment?

YCombinator vs. Techstars

YCombinator has been around longer, but these 2 are considered the best incubators. From what I heard, YCombinator really lets you do things on your own while providing you an awesome mentor network to help you with your startup. Also, YCombinator only seem to have only 2 big hits (Dropbox and AirBnB). Techstars focuses on the lean methodology with the first month doing customer development, the 2nd month doing product development, and the 3rd doing practicing pitching to investors.

Regardless of the stats of who has more companes, who's companies raised more, etc.

1. Which one has the better curriculum?
2. Which one gives you a better experience?
3. What's good about each, and bad about each?
4. Which one is easier to get into
5. Is it worth it to join one of these incubators?

Has anyone had experience with the incubator AVOS (Steve Chen and Chad Hurley's Incubator)?

They are the incubator started by Youtube's co-founders Steve Chen and Chad Hurley. There's not a lot of information on their incubator.

Other than Silicon Valley, New York, and Boulder Colorado, are there any other good startup locations?

Hey, we see that there are a bunch of incubators all over the world. Is it necessary to be in those locations?

I mean, there are also pretty good incubators in Europe, but that doesn't mean they are really that web-start-friendly.

Therefore, are there any other startup-friendly communities elsewhere?

Is there another language that is better than Ruby on Rails for web development?

I am thinking about learning a programming language so that I can code the MVP of my website. I looked in Rails from the links in the Tutorial, but I still think it's quite complicated. Is there a program or a graphics interface programming language that'd be easier for me to use?

I've looked at PHP in the past, and I think that's not too hard to learn. But I was thinking since if I had to learn something from scratch, I'd want to learn something that'd last me longer.

Review My Idea: Review Social Network

Don't you think the static product reviews on the internet don't answer your doubts most of the time? There's so many different kinds of users and most product reviews don't really answer what I really care about. If you could actually talk real time with people who own the product that you want to buy, wouldn't that be awesome?

My team and I are thinking about building a review social network where people can post the products that they own, so that other people can reach out and ask them about it. People who help answer these review questions will get feedback. We gamify these feedback points into discounts they can get at sponsored brands.

What do you guys think about the idea?
